Isaac got his LEA in summer of 2012, he's done a little bit of everything in this industry ever since. He enjoys service work, feeling it's more interesting and engaging than install. Currently Isaac holds a NICET II, and certs for C-Cure 9000 and Ocularis VMS.Having worked for Siemens, JCI, Point Monitor, and currently with Stanley/Securitas, Isaac is a well rounded tech that we're very excited to chat with

Colton hangs out with Mike as they chat with Jessica Clawson about her decision to become a Half Watt and what its like for her to be both an apprentice and a woman in todays work place.
Jessica is currently a 5th period apprentice for low voltage electricity. She not afraid of crawl spaces, hard work and enjoys long walks on the beach with her dog Gunner. If Jessica had to pick a good book to read it would be Everyone Poops by Taro Gomi or a VISTA-20P security manual.

An automotive tech at 22 turned into LEA technician, I have had the fortune to work for several companies in my career of 9 years. So far, I’ve worked on everything but POTs and Nurse Call under the LEA license. The foundation of who I am, in my field, is a result of many great LEA journeyman I’ve worked under and with. I fell in love with the trade so much, that a year after I received my license, I joined the JATC committee. In spring of 2019, I was accepted as an JATC instructor. This allowed me the opportunity to teach and learn from 2nd and 3rd year apprentices. Instructing has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, thus far. I am excited for what the future holds, for my career and the industry, as the next generation takes the lead.
