an automotive tech at 22 turned into LEA technician, I have had the fortune to work for several companies in my career of 9 years. So far, I’ve worked on everything but POTs and Nurse Call under the LEA license. The foundation of who I am, in my field, is a result of many great LEA journeyman I’ve worked under and with. I fell in love with the trade so much, that a year after I received my license, I joined the JATC committee. In spring of 2019, I was accepted as an JATC instructor. This allowed me the opportunity to teach and learn from 2nd and 3rd year apprentices. Instructing has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, thus far. I am excited for what the future holds, for my career and the industry, as the next generation takes the lead.
